Rohan da Great's Likkle Bashment was a Success!

Rohan Da Great, in partnership with his nonprofit organization Be Great and Inspire and Bashment Vibes NC, created a one-of-a-kind Back to School Experience for local students, hosted at The Venu in Raleigh, which brought an upscale Caribbean club vibe to the community 🎒🇯🇲✨

Not only did students receive free bookbags and school supplies, but they also enjoyed cultural gifts from Chat Patwah, authentic Jamaican food from Island Flavour Food Truck, dessert courtesy of Blue Bell Ice Cream, and free health care items provided by the Wake County Health Department 🍦🩺

The event also featured face painting by Play N Paint by Brandie and entertainment from DJ Supa Dane and rising young DJ Don, turning the day into a true cultural exchange filled with energy, laughter, and Caribbean rhythm 🎶💃🏾

Rohan shared the inspiration behind the idea:

“The idea actually came from my son Rohan. He heard all the good feedback from Bashment and said it wasn’t fair — why can’t the kids have a Bashment too? Instead of just a back-to-school event. That’s when it hit me… we could do both.”

Likkle Bashment was definitely another great moment powered by community, culture, and giving back. 💚💛🖤
