On August 23rd, chart-topping Dancehall/Rap artist and community leader Rohan Da Great is turning a simple school supply giveaway into a full-on Caribbean-infused celebration. Through his nonprofit Be Great and Inspire, Rohan is hosting Likkle Bashment, a vibrant Back 2 School event designed to equip local youth with everything they need for the classroom — and remind them they’re part of a strong, supportive community.
Presented in partnership with Bashment Vibes NC, the event blends service with celebration. Families can expect free book bags, school supplies, haircuts, and food, alongside live Caribbean music, dancing, games, and contests. It’s Rohan’s way of giving back, uplifting the next generation, and showcasing the culture that has fueled his rise on the charts and in the community.
