The Real

Coming of the success of previous singles "Rule The World" "Say Goodbye" and "SMYK" the Billboard reatured hit collab with Dani Deahl., I'm  prepping for the release of my Debut Hip-Hop EP "The ReaL" This debut project features songs that give unfiltered accounts of real events that took place in the recent years of my life. While recording the album I realized that the songs that I was crafting were a lot deeper than the average songs on the radio, but still had a certain sound that made the project Marketable. I was gettting great feedback on the authenticiy and relatablility of the songs, people often asked if these events were real and what made me record the songs.  As a result I decided to release a related 3 Part Documentary Series entitled The Real: Rap, Love, Reality.. LIFE. showing the recording of the anticipated debut project, while giving the raw and uncut stories, concepts and ideologies behind each song.  In addition I will also be giving a behind the scenes look into the life the of an underground recording artists by showcasing the unseen reality that most artist endure while trying to break into the industry.

“Say Goodbye”, Rohan dives into emotions anyone can relate to when experiencing loss: Sadness, regret, shame and anger, but also feeling of strength as well as hope for our own futures. Although this song is about coping with death, it’s not exactly somber. Not every song about this subject as to be heart-wrenchingly sad. When someone dies you can’t stew in grief forever, you have to move on with your life, and I see this concept throughout “Say Goodbye”. Between the great, heartfelt lyrics and Stoney’s glowing vocals on the hook, this song is one for the books.~ Katie Logan LIMERENCE MAGAZINE

"Only One" by "Rohan Da Great is exceptional. Raw storytelling over a smooth jazzy hip hop infused beat. This one isn’t for the clubs, but for the ones who have experienced heartache, betrayal and the case of the ex. It’s always refreshing to hear hip hop artists tap into their softer side and really let the listeners into their real world that consist of love, hurt, and fears." ~ Purple Bars ‪
